How does this work?

The standard firmware on the Launch Pro has been modified to validate against a custom server. This allows all features to be enabled, at the expense of support with official applications. The owner would ideally use the modified launch monitor with third-party golf simulation software such as GSPro.

Can I use FSX Play/FSX Pro/FSX 2020?

Hindsight-enabled devices are compatible with official software, including the mobile version of FSX Pro as well as the Foresight app.

Why do I need to validate the device every 45 days?

The 45 day validation window is a remnant of the standard firmware and server, as non-modified devices must be able to determine whether the user has an active subscription, has paid for Club Data, etc. Hindsight-enabled devices connect to a custom server that always responds with all features enabled, and such will never lose functionality.

Can I rely on the custom server always being online?

Our custom server has gone through extensive testing and is mirrored across various hosts in order to ensure its uptime. Should there be any issues in regard to the server's availability or support in the future, a user-oriented alternative will be provided on this site for continued support of modified devices.

I own a launch monitor. Can I modify it to make it Hindsight-compatible?

At this time, we do not provide the ability to modify existing devices.
